About the Instructor

Zanthia Reed opened the Reed School of Irish Dance in 1998 and has since centered her classes around the love of the dance and the chance to bring her students the high self-esteem, fast friendships and success that comes with Irish Dancing.

Zanthia is a certified teacher registered with the Irish Dancing Commission in Dublin. She is also a member of the Western Region Irish Dance Teachers' Association of North America. Zanthia took her first jig steps at age eight and has, in her 19 years as a dancer, competed at local, regional, and national levels. In 1990, she danced in the World Championships in Galway, Ireland, after qualifying at the national level.

Welcome our new instructor- Jaden Powell.  Jaden is a certified Irish Dance instructor for several years.  She was a competitive dancer, winning the Western Region Oireachtas.  Please welcome my dear friend and partner!
